GAMES

We all know how important it is to Warm up before serious play starts, so here are a couple of ideas to get you going...

POOP, PASS & FLICK - a distance and accuracy drill
Stretch a long string, a rope or a 100 foot tape measure [from dad's tool box in the garage] along the ground in the middle of the longest part of your yard. Position yourself in line with the target and try to shoot your rubber Practice Poop" down the length of the line. Using a shorter string, lay down a 2nd line to the resting place of your Practice Poop" perpendicular to the main line and subtract that distance back towards where you originally shot from. Record the distance with a tape measure or stick serving as a marker. After three shots, add the distances up and the best total wins.

WARM UP # 2 - Position three targets in the yard and shoot your Practice Poop" towards each target. Measure the distance from your poop to each of the targets and add the total. Low score wins.

WARM UP # 3 - Set a pail out in the center of the yard and from three different locations, FLICK your Practice Poop" high into the air and try to land it in the pail. Add a pre-determined amount [like 10, 25 or 50] to your point total for every "basket" made.

WARM UP # 4 - Everyone find a partner each with their own Turd Burglar". Pace off 10 steps apart along the border of your yard. Facing the far opposite border, walk briskly and PASS one Practice Poop" back and forth to each other, reversing directions at the far border. Learn to "lead" the other player so momentum stays constant.
